Testimonials:
"I'm glad that the UConn Co-op is part of CSNE. Being a member gives
our store the opportunity to attend conferences such as the Super
Regional Meeting & Buying Show as well as to network and learn from our
colleagues across New England. We may be one of the larger store
members, but I have learned so much from the wonderful people I
constantly meet at CSNE sponsored events. It doesn't matter if you are
a store that has revenues of $100,000 or $10 million, we are all campus
stores and have many similar issues and concerns. This is our industry
and CSNE is our regional voice. Being on the Board of Directors is
giving me the opportunity to grow professionally beyond my leadership
role at the Co-op as I find it important to give back to the industry
that supports my family."
Dirk Fecho, Campus Stores and Professional Division Manager
UConn Co-op
"I am more informed about issues affecting the textbook
industry since becoming involved with CSNE. I am more knowledgeable
about digital delivery and legislation around the country regarding
textbook pricing. This information has helped me when speaking to
various groups on campus about textbooks and pricing."
Robin Dziczek, Assistant Director/Textbooks
Assumption College Bookstore
"As a small store, CSNE has made me feel welcome.
The association is for Prep School Stores too and not just College
Stores."
Jo Lee,
Students Services Manager
Brooks School
"Participating in CSNE has given me
broader understanding of the industry. It has allowed me to not just
be involved with textbooks but other aspects of the college store
environment. It has helped me develop better people skills, prepare
material and work in an area very new to me (serving on an all
volunteer board) and be responsible for seeing that a group of
people work to achieve one goal. That goal would be to better serve
our CSNE membership. I do believe that I'm the better for having
volunteered my time to CSNE."
